Pursuant to Article 22(2) of Spanish Law 34/2002 (LSSI-CE) and the guidance of the Spanish Data Protection Agency, we inform you of the following.

This site uses no cookies

helixcore.biotecno.org installs no cookies in your browser. None of its own, none from third parties, no analytics, no advertising, no social media. That is why you will see no consent banner: there is nothing to consent to.

This is not an oversight, it is a design decision. The consequences are deliberate:

• We do not know how many people visit the site, from where, or what they read. There is no Google Analytics or equivalent.
• There are no tracking pixels, advertising identifiers or browser fingerprinting.
• Language is decided by the URL (/, /en/, /fr/, /de/), not by a preference cookie. Switching language means navigating to another address.
• Fonts are served from this same domain. There is no call to Google Fonts, so your visit is not disclosed to a third party.

Browser local storage

The site stores no information in your browser’s local storage. The only operation it performs there is deletion: on page load it removes a key (helixcore_outbox) that an earlier version of the form once wrote, so that no contact data is left behind on shared machines.

Server logs

Like any web server, the one serving this site records the requests it receives (IP address, timestamp, requested resource and user agent) for the technical purpose of keeping the service running and detecting abuse. These are not cookies, they are not cross-referenced with profiles, and they are not used for audience analytics. They are kept for at most twelve months.

Outbound links

The site links to scientific articles via DOI and to public databases. Following one of those links takes you to a third-party domain with its own cookie policies, outside our control.

If this were to change

Should any cookie or tracking technology be introduced in future, this page would be updated before it was activated, and the prior, granular and revocable consent the law requires would be sought. As long as this page says what it says, there are none.
